The first person to express her bad experience when the question about the same; Mona Mathews stated that she would always express the sexual nuisance she would ever confront all through her life. She added that rapes and sexual molestation are common in the Hindi film industry as compared to any other industry. She also said that females in India do not express their sufferings considering it a distasteful thing in the media.
Popular actress Radhika Apte also became the part of the MeToo movement. When the actress was questioned over the same, she stated people do not often understand the extent of the matters.
The other actress to talk over the matter and act as the part of this movement is the brilliant actress Konkana Sen. She stated that this should be further than the team spirit we share about it and it can be fulfilled only by entering deeper into this matter.
Kangana Ranaut also stepped up to back up the special drive – #MeToo and then remained the part of the movement on sexual nuisance. She added that she will support the drive and sturdily condemn such matters including exploitation, physical exploitation, sexual nuisance and pay the difference.
The other celebs who spoke against this matter and acted as a major part of the said movement comprise Richa Chadha, Kalki Koechlin, Swara Bhaskar and Sonam Kapoor.
